Sorry we've been a bit quiet lately, but we hope to keep you up to date as much as we can in future. You may have noticed some things we were doing recently, but since about February time we haven't really said much…

I'm here yet to disappoint you again because until next week I can't really say much else except what I'm about to tell you. There may have been a number of rumours going around about us, some even from the band itself. I'd like to clear up any false stories.

State The Obvious are still together – we're not ready to stop writing and playing music. However some of us have gone our separate ways. From February's lineup, only me and Laura are still in the band. Chris has moved onto other things - his own solo project and new band – we wish him well with these new endeavours. I'm not sure what Izi's up to music-wise but we'll let you know if we do. We're still all friends thankfully!

However, this has not dissuaded us from continuing with our music…
Like I say, we'll update you again next week, so stay tuned for that.
